Work has recently been completed on the £1.5 million development of the high end restaurant experience venue. Davis partnership were the design consultancy on this project. They brought Kooltech on in the very early stage of the design process. Kooltech worked alongside Davis partnership to design a modern and efficient HVAC system and also a state of the art mechanical control panel.
Kooltech worked closely with Stewart Clague Services to support this large Hotel rebuild utilising a VRF heat recovery application, from the selection of all Mitsubishi Electric condensing units and branch control (BC) boxes to support the heating and cooling infrastructure. Kooltech's range of bespoke BC boxes come with port isolation as standard, which in turn has helped with the phased installation.
33 Aldgate House is an office refurbishment of two floors. The design of the system incorporated a number of Kooltech K-Con bespoke products. These products provided a number of solutions that were of benefit to the end user, including comfort and safety benefits.
Kooltech were approached by the primary air conditioning contractor, Effective Air Solutions, to design a system to meet a strict set of requirements; notably the selection of low noise level equipment to suit the call centre function of the Centre, and compliance with EN378 regulations.
Kooltech supported the project from the start; from its original design specification through to the delivery logistics of this project. The Hotel remained fully functional over the 3 week timescale of the work whilst the refurbishment took place.
Kooltech's new state of the art headquarters is used to showcase traditional VRF air conditioning alongside the innovative award winning Hybrid VRF system. It has a fully functional product showroom and training facility that showcases K-Con bespoke products and Mitsubishi Electric's full range.
A Cat A fit out of an existing 8 story listed building with a 1.0 m raised floor utilised as the service void for ventilation and air conditioning.
The design brief was to bring the existing systems & controls up to the same standard as the new design & installation of the hotel’s new extension.
Each bedroom was served by a single Concealed Floor Standing VRF Indoor unit with a Kooltech KS9 Discrete return air button sensor and a PAC-YT52CRA simplified controller to allow the occupants to control the temperature within the room. Each indoor unit was connected to the vin card entry system via a 5 Wire adaptor. There was a similair set up for the front of house and the Cocktail Bar excluding the 5 wire adaptors.
The systems selected were a mixture of Mitsubishi Electric VRF Y Series for the open floor areas and R2 for the smaller areas.
