Area Sales Manager

Location: Southern Counties

Reporting to: Divisional Sales Manager

Purpose of the role: This Sales Manager will develop sustainable and profitable sales growth of the Kooltech product range. This includes Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning equipment and Refrigeration installation and service ancillaries. 

Salary: Dependent on experience  

Job type: Full time


Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Promote the sales of Kooltech's range of products by building relationships with Air Conditioning and Refrigeration contractors through planned targeting of existing and potential clients, and effective account management. 
  • Engage and interact with client decision makers through personal visits, telephone and written communication to identify new and emerging business opportunities. 
  • Achieve sales turnover and profit targets agreed for the territory/assigned customer group. 
  • Define and implement coordinated sales and campaigns with the local Kooltech branch and marketing to develop relationships and sales with existing and non-spending accounts. 
  • Achieve the desired sales execution standards by planning and completing the required number of quality customer visits, recording accurate call notes and updating customer contact details within CRM. 
  • Take self-responsibility to improve product and industry knowledge and measure your own performance against your goals set corrective actions. 

Skills:

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years sales experience.
  • Success in defining and implementing local and individual account development plans. 
  • Demonstrate effective time and sales territory management.
  • Be an effective team player and communicator with a desire to succeed.

Location: South East x 1, Southern Counties x 1

Reporting to: Divisional Sales Manager

Purpose of the role: This Sales Manager will develop sustainable and profitable sales growth of the Kooltech product range through specification Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Equipment to Mechanical and Electrical Consultants, Engineers and HVAC contractors for commercial projects.

  • Promote the range of Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning and K-con bespoke Air Conditioning and controls packages to M&E Consultants, Engineers and Specialist Air Conditioning Contractors through planned targeting of projects and exiting and potential clients, and effective account management. 
  • Engage and interact with client decision makers through personal visits, telephone and written communication to identify new and emerging business opportunities. 
  • Achieve sales turnover and profit targets agreed for the territory/assigned customer group.

Internal Project Sales Coordinator

Location: Hillington Park, Glasgow

Reporting to: Regional Technical Manager 

Purpose of the role: We are recruiting for an Internal Project Sales Coordinator who will provide project administration and support to customers and the Kooltech Project Sales Team in the Scotland Region and other employees. This individual will maintain the Regional database and promote Kooltech products and services to Contractors and Consultants.

Salary: Dependent on experience  

Job type: Full time


Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Administer customer project orders, including acknowledgement, order entry, amending order data information and proactively agreeing delivery schedules with customers. Fulfil customer requirements by arranging equipment availability and deliveries with Mitsubishi Electric.
  • Provide a high level of customer service, maintain regular customer contact and ensure a speedy response to each and every customer enquiry.
  • Provide a project forecast as required detailing invoicing schedules. Complete monthly sales performance and annual Gross Margin figures as directed.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with Mitsubishi Electric and Kooltech Branch team members, ensuring deliveries are planned well in advance through clear and concise written and oral communication.
  • Efficient planning and execution of the delivery schedule, minimising transport and carriage costs whilst maintaining high levels of Customer Service.
  • Establish and take responsibility to develop a knowledge of the Mitsubishi Electric product model numbers, understanding of their physical characteristics, the site environment and the applications to ensure appropriate delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with Branch sales providing project information to ensure follow up on install material sales opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in all aspects of the Branch operation, including authorised pricing and discount structures.
  • Through a “hands-on” approach, maintain complete familiarity with the company ERP system to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.
  • Work closely with the Finance Team and Sales Managers to identify any potential credit issues which would prevent or delay shipments.

Skills:

  • Excellent coordinator, organised and a proven written and verbal communicator.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word & Excel) and ERP operating systems.
  • Experience of working in the Construction and HVAC sectors would be advantageous.

Applications Engineer

Location: Hillington Park, Glasgow

Reporting to: Regional Technical Manager

Purpose of the role: We a recruiting for an Applications Engineer to join our Scottish Sales Division. This person will provide value added solutions applying Mitsubishi Electric and K-con bespoke solutions to HVAC projects and technical advice to customers and colleagues on our range of air conditioning and refrigeration products. 

Salary: Dependent on experience  

Job type: Full time

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • To apply our product range to HVAC design criteria to deliver sound and reliable solutions and accurate quotations.
  • To provide technical support and assist our client base of Consultant and Air conditioning contractors.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Sales Team and its employees.
  • Assist customers in all technical advice for Mitsubishi electric products and support as required.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues by accepting telephone orders and enquiries.
  • Maintain familiarity with all supplied air conditioning.
  • Increase quality and effectiveness of design team, regularly monitoring service levels.
  • To manage the project database, maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations.
  • Liaise with Regional Technical Manager and National Technical Manager on new products and design changes.
  • Train and educate in Mitsubishi products all Kooltech staff.
  • Develop and maintain effective inter-personal relationships with Senior Project Managers and Branch staff ensuring a high standard of teamwork.

Skills:

  • Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in the HVAC Industry.
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in Building Services Design.
  • Microsoft Office. 
  • Educated to a minimum GCSE level.
