Internal Sales Co-ordinator x 3

Location:  Manchester (Trafford Park) x 1, Birmingham (Coleshill) x 1, London (Hayes) x 1

Reporting to: Branch Manager 

The role: We are currently seeking Internal Sales Co-coordinators to join our successful team. Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be assisting with the sales of the product portfolio incoming through the branch and over the trade counter. 

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Processing and handling of incoming orders both over the phone and the trade counter, and undertaking follow-up action for order confirmation.
  • Providing an excellent customer service ensuring a speedy response to each and every customer enquiry.
  • Acquire a detailed product knowledge to effectively support customer enquiries and promote the Kooltech portfolio to customers visiting the trade counter.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in all aspects of the branch operation including pricing and data management.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in collection of payments, issuing of credits and administration of warranty claims.
  • Supporting the Branch Manager to ensure that stock levels remain with-in pre-defined levels.

Driver / Stores Person

Location:  London (Hayes) 

Reporting to: Distribution Centre Supervisor 

The role: We are currently seeking a Driver / Stores Person to join our successful London team. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Supervisor you will be assisting with customer deliveries and collections and undertaking a variety of warehouse duties. 

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Deliver customer orders in the company’s van as per delivery schedules, helping organise external carriers for timely despatch when overloads arise on the in-house facility.
  • Prepare deliveries, whenever necessary and pack/assemble products matching customer orders due for despatch.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards in the warehouse, with storage of goods aided by mechanical handling equipment (forklift truck, hydraulic lift or any such device provided by the company).
  • Undertake vehicle maintenance and safety checks. 
  • Ensure effective rotation of stock holdings to avoid “aging” in shelf life.
  • Inspection of goods received for quality, damage and/or validation against the company’s official purchase order.
  • Accurately complete Goods Received and Goods Despatched documents.

Desired qualifications, experience and attributes: 

  • Experience of driving larger vans such as 3.5 tonne Luton vehicles.
  • A flexible, reliable and hard working team player with a customer focused attitude who has the skill to develop and maintain excellent inter-personal relationships effectively both internally and with customers.

Area Project Sales Manager

Location: South Coast / Southern Counties 

Reporting to: Southern Divisional Sales Manager

Purpose of the role: This Sales Manager will develop sustainable and profitable sales growth of the Kooltech product range through specification Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Equipment to Mechanical and Electrical Consultants, Engineers and HVAC contractors for commercial projects.

Salary: Dependent on experience

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Promote the range of Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning and K-con bespoke Air Conditioning and controls packages to M&E Consultants, Engineers and Specialist Air Conditioning Contractors through planned targeting of projects and exiting and potential clients, and effective account management. 
  • Engage and interact with client decision makers through personal visits, telephone and written communication to identify new and emerging business opportunities. 
  • Achieve sales turnover and profit targets agreed for the territory/assigned customer group. 
  • Define and implement coordinated sales and campaigns with the local Kooltech branch and marketing to develop relationships and sales with existing and non-spending accounts. 
  • Achieve the desired sales execution standards by planning and completing the required number of quality customer visits, recording accurate call notes and updating customer contact details within CRM. 
  • Take self-responsibility to improve product and industry knowledge and measure your own performance against your goals set corrective actions. 

Skills:

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years specification sales experience within the HVAC sector.
  • Success in defining and implementing local and individual account and project sales development plans. 
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Be an effective team player and communicator with a desire to succeed.

Internal Project Sales Coordinator x 2

Location: Hillington Park, Glasgow x 1, Hayes, London x 1. 

Reporting to: Regional Technical Manager 

Purpose of the role: We are recruiting for an Internal Project Sales Coordinator who will provide project administration and support to customers and the Kooltech Project Sales Team in the Scotland Region and other employees. This individual will maintain the Regional database and promote Kooltech products and services to Contractors and Consultants.

Salary: Dependent on experience  

Job type: Full time


Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Administer customer project orders, including acknowledgement, order entry, amending order data information and proactively agreeing delivery schedules with customers. Fulfil customer requirements by arranging equipment availability and deliveries with Mitsubishi Electric.
  • Provide a high level of customer service, maintain regular customer contact and ensure a speedy response to each and every customer enquiry.
  • Provide a project forecast as required detailing invoicing schedules. Complete monthly sales performance and annual Gross Margin figures as directed.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with Mitsubishi Electric and Kooltech Branch team members, ensuring deliveries are planned well in advance through clear and concise written and oral communication.
  • Efficient planning and execution of the delivery schedule, minimising transport and carriage costs whilst maintaining high levels of Customer Service.
  • Establish and take responsibility to develop a knowledge of the Mitsubishi Electric product model numbers, understanding of their physical characteristics, the site environment and the applications to ensure appropriate delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with Branch sales providing project information to ensure follow up on install material sales opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in all aspects of the Branch operation, including authorised pricing and discount structures.
  • Through a “hands-on” approach, maintain complete familiarity with the company ERP system to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.
  • Work closely with the Finance Team and Sales Managers to identify any potential credit issues which would prevent or delay shipments.

Skills:

  • Excellent coordinator, organised and a proven written and verbal communicator.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word & Excel) and ERP operating systems.
  • Experience of working in the Construction and HVAC sectors would be advantageous.

Applications Engineer

Location: Hayes, Middlesex

Reporting to: Regional Technical Manager

Purpose of the role: We a recruiting for an Applications Engineer to join our Southern Sales Division. This person will provide value added solutions applying Mitsubishi Electric and K-con bespoke solutions to HVAC projects and technical advice to customers and colleagues on our range of air conditioning and refrigeration products. 

Salary: Dependent on experience

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • To apply our product range to HVAC design criteria to deliver sound and reliable solutions and accurate quotations.
  • To provide technical support and assist our client base of Consultant and Air conditioning contractors.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Sales Team and its employees.
  • Assist customers in all technical advice for Mitsubishi electric products and support as required.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues by accepting telephone orders and enquiries.
  • Maintain familiarity with all supplied air conditioning.
  • Increase quality and effectiveness of design team, regularly monitoring service levels.
  • To manage the project database, maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations.
  • Liaise with Regional Technical Manager and National Technical Manager on new products and design changes.
  • Train and educate in Mitsubishi products all Kooltech staff.
  • Develop and maintain effective inter-personal relationships with Senior Project Managers and Branch staff ensuring a high standard of teamwork.

Skills:

  • Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in the HVAC Industry.
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in Building Services Design.
  • Microsoft Office. 
  • Educated to a minimum GCSE level.

Technical Support Engineer

Based: Fareham 

Reporting to: Technical Manager

Salary: Dependent on experience

Job type: Full time

Purpose of role: We are currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our successful team. Reporting to the Regional Technical Manager you will provide commissioning to Mitsubishi Electric VRF systems and K-con Air conditioning products, resolve warranty disputes and provide technical support to customers and Kooltech employees.

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Commission, Fault find and health check Mitsubishi electric VRF Systems and K-con Air conditioning products.
  • Attend site to resolve commissioning/installation queries and resolve warranty disputes.
  • Support Kooltech branches and customers with technical support, face to face, over the phone and via email.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning forms, log sheets, Health and Safety records where applicable.
  • Promote product sales and services to contractors and consultants when possible.
  • Maintain familiarity with new and present Mitsubishi products i.e. attend training courses when required.
  • Actively participate in branch meetings to discuss and exchange views and ideas to improve performance, appertaining to the larger group picture.
  • Assist with in-house training courses when required.

Skills:

  • Level 3 Refrigeration Qualification, F-Gas Certified, Full Clean Driving Licence. 
  • Experience of working on Mitsubishi Electric Air conditioning systems, controls panels and heating products.
  • Effective technical problem solver, with strong fault diagnosis skills, high levels of tenacity who is organised and planned.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to quickly develop effective relationships with internal and external customers verbally and by e-mail.
  • Computer literate and competent user of MS Office and field-based tools.

Apprentice Technical Support Engineer

Location: Fareham 

Reporting to: Technical Manager 

The role: We are looking for an Apprentice Technical Support Engineer to join our expanding team of engineers. The position will entail full training to become a Technical Support engineer with a Level 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. 

This Apprentice will shadow Kooltech Technical Support Engineer's on their day to day roles including; 

  • Commissioning of Air Conditioning systems 
  • Stripping down and rebuilding condensers 
  • Fault finding on spilt systems & VRF 
  • All aspects of warranty work 
  • This role will demand some travel around the UK and overnight stays. 

Desired qualifications and attributes: 

  • GCSE English, Maths, Science (Preferred but not essential) 
  • Enthusiastic, reliable with a desire to learn 
  • Technically minded with an interest in diagnosing and solving technical challenges
