Project Sales Manager

We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of our expanding team as a Project Sales Manager based up in Scotland. 


Job type: full time

 

Daily duties & responsibilities 

  • Promote sales and influence the range of Mitsubishi products to main contractors, sub-contractors, end users and consultancy organisations by planned targeting of existing and potential customers/clients in respective industries.
  • Achieve sales turnover budgets/targets agreed for the branch (exceeding these levels wherever possible!) with optimum gross margins adhering to company policies on discount procedures.
  • Achieve quote targets set and quote conversion rates as agreed with the Regional Project Manager.
  • Actively track all projects, and share project information with the product sales team.
  • In ALL instances where special pricing needs to be quoted to meet competitive or customer pressures, prior approval must be sought from the Regional Project Manager.
  • Provide a constantly improved quality of Customer Service by maintaining regular contact with personal visits and/or telephone and/or written communications.
  • Acquire detailed product knowledge of products and market trends to effectively support customer queries and/or requirements for any back-up services.
  • Maintain regular market intelligence on competitive pricing policies, products range and/or special promotions for regular weekly or monthly reporting to the Regional Project Manager (as directed) with any appropriate recommendations for Kooltech action.
  • Be responsible for day-to-day management of customer accounts, as directed by the Regional Project Manager.
  • Provide entertainment/hospitality to develop and maintain good customer relationships, recognising that some events will occur out off normal working hours.
  • Ensure speedy response to each and every customer enquiry - in consultation with the Regional Project Manager whenever required to do so.
  • Support the role of Salesperson (Internal) and/or the Storeperson upon direction from the Regional Project Manager whenever required to do so.
  • Maintain complete familiarity with the computer link to head-office and the operating system with a “hands-on” approach to ensure continuing use of modern technology in use and generation of performance data.
  • Assist the Regional Project Manager, as and when necessary, in:

(a) Administration of warranty claims

(b) Timely payments by debtors (in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions applicable to specific customer accounts).

  • Maintain excellent inter-personal relationships with all personnel at the branch and those at other branches/head office/subsidiary companies within the Kooltech group.
  • Actively participate in regular branch staff meetings.

(a) Communicating any notable sales achievements and/or problems in the market.

(b) Discussing more profitable sources for procurement, for possible communication to the Divisional Business Executive.

Area Product Manager

Location: Manchester & M62 Corridor

Reporting to: Regional Product Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time.

Purpose of role: Field base sales manager whom develops sustainable and profitable sales growth of the Kooltech product range including Mitsubishi Air conditioning in compliance with authorized pricing and discount structure.

Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are currently seeking an Area product manager to join our successful team. 


Job type: full time 


Daily duties and responsibilities:

  •  Promote sales of Kooltech’s range of products and build effective relationships with HVAC contractors through planned targeting of existing and potential customers/clients. 
  •           Engage and interact with client decision makers to identify new and emerging business opportunities. Establish informal rapport with customers to obtain market intelligence on prevalent competitive pricing policies, additions/deletions to product offerings, or special promotions intended/currently in vogue. 

    ·         Achieve sales turnover targets agreed for the territory/assigned customer group (exceeding these levels wherever possible) with optimum gross margins adhering to company policies on discount procedures. 

    ·         To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues. 

    ·         In ALL instances where special pricing needs to be quoted to meet competitive or customer pressures, prior approval must be sought from the Regional Product Manager.

    ·         Provide a constantly improved quality of Customer Service by maintaining regular contact with personal visits, telephone and written communications. 

    ·         Maintain regular market intelligence on competitive pricing policies, products range and/or special promotions for regular weekly or monthly reporting to the Regional Product Manager(as directed) with any appropriate recommendations for Kooltech action.

    ·         Assist the Internal Account Manager, as and when necessary, in:

    Administration of warranty claims. 

    Timely payments by debtors (in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions applicable to specific customer accounts). 

    Customer account development strategies 

    ·         Maintain excellent inter-personal relationships with all personnel at the branch and those at other branches/head office/subsidiary companies within the Kooltech group. 

    ·         Actively participate in regular sales staff meetings. Communicating any notable sales achievements and/or developments in the market or any improvements in operating methods which generate cost reduction, and/or productivity.

2 X Technical Support Engineer

Location: Glasgow / Manchester

Reporting to: Regional Technical Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time.

Purpose of role: Commissioning Mitsubishi VRF Systems. Provide technical support to customers and Kooltech employees. Resolve warranty disputes when required and promote Kooltech products and services to contractors and consultants.

Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are currently seeking two Technical support engineers to join our successful team. Reporting to the National technical manager you will provide commissioning to Mitsubishi VRF systems and also provide technical support to customers and Kooltech employees.


Job type: full time 


Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Commission VRF split systems when required (including weekends)
  • Attend site to resolve commissioning/installation queries.
  • Support Kooltech branches with technical support.
  • Attend site when required to resolve warranty disputes.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning forms, log sheets, Health and Safety records where applicable.
  • Provide assistance to sales and admin colleagues by accepting telephone orders and enquiries and communicating details for the sales order processing system.
  • Promote product sales and services to contractors and consultants when possible.
  • Maintain familiarity with new and present Mitsubishi products i.e. attend training courses when required.
  • Actively participate in branch meetings to discuss and exchange views and ideas to improve performance, appertaining to the larger group picture.
  • Assist National Technical Service Manager with in-house training courses when required.
