Area Product Manager

Location: Manchester & M62 Corridor

Reporting to: Regional Product Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time.

Purpose of role: Field base sales manager whom develops sustainable and profitable sales growth of the Kooltech product range including Mitsubishi Air conditioning in compliance with authorized pricing and discount structure.

Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are currently seeking an Area product manager  to join our successful team. 

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  •  Promote sales of Kooltech’s range of products and build effective relationships with HVAC contractors through planned targeting of existing and potential customers/clients. 
  •           Engage and interact with client decision makers to identify new and emerging business opportunities. Establish informal rapport with customers to obtain market intelligence on prevalent competitive pricing policies, additions/deletions to product offerings, or special promotions intended/currently in vogue. 

    ·         Achieve sales turnover targets agreed for the territory/assigned customer group (exceeding these levels wherever possible) with optimum gross margins adhering to company policies on discount procedures. 

    ·         To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues. 

    ·         In ALL instances where special pricing needs to be quoted to meet competitive or customer pressures, prior approval must be sought from the Regional Product Manager.

    ·         Provide a constantly improved quality of Customer Service by maintaining regular contact with personal visits, telephone and written communications. 

    ·         Maintain regular market intelligence on competitive pricing policies, products range and/or special promotions for regular weekly or monthly reporting to the Regional Product Manager(as directed) with any appropriate recommendations for Kooltech action. 

    ·         Be responsible for day-to-day management of customer accounts, as directed by the Regional Product Manager. 

    ·         Provide entertainment/hospitality to develop and maintain good customer relationships, recognizing that some events will occur outside normal working hours. 

    ·         Ensure speedy response to each and every customer enquiry - in consultation with the Regional Product Managerwhenever required to do so. 

    ·         Support the role of Internal Sales and/or the Branch upon direction from the Regional Product Managerwhenever required to do so.

    ·         Maintain complete familiarity with the computer link to head-office and the CRM operating system with a “hands-on” approach to ensure continuing use of modern technology in use and generation of performance data.

    ·         Assist the Internal Account Manager, as and when necessary, in:

    Administration of warranty claims. 

    Timely payments by debtors (in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions applicable to specific customer accounts). 

    Customer account development strategies 

    ·         Maintain excellent inter-personal relationships with all personnel at the branch and those at other branches/head office/subsidiary companies within the Kooltech group. 

    ·         Actively participate in regular sales staff meetings. Communicating any notable sales achievements and/or developments in the market or any improvements in operating methods which generate cost reduction, and/or productivity.

2 X Technical Support Engineer

Location: Glasgow / Manchester

Reporting to: Regional Technical Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time.

Purpose of role: Commissioning Mitsubishi VRF Systems. Provide technical support to customers and Kooltech employees. Resolve warranty disputes when required and promote Kooltech products and services to contractors and consultants.

Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are currently seeking two Technical support engineers to join our successful team. Reporting to the National technical manager you will provide commissioning to Mitsubishi VRF systems and also provide technical support to customers and Kooltech employees.

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Commission VRF split systems when required (including weekends)
  • Attend site to resolve commissioning/installation queries.
  • Support Kooltech branches with technical support.
  • Attend site when required to resolve warranty disputes.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning forms, log sheets, Health and Safety records where applicable.
  • Provide assistance to sales and admin colleagues by accepting telephone orders and enquiries and communicating details for the sales order processing system.
  • Promote product sales and services to contractors and consultants when possible.
  • Maintain familiarity with new and present Mitsubishi products i.e. attend training courses when required.
  • Actively participate in branch meetings to discuss and exchange views and ideas to improve performance, appertaining to the larger group picture.
  • Assist National Technical Service Manager with in-house training courses when required.

Branch Manager

We are looking for individuals who want to lead our expanding teams' as Branch Manager.

Job type: full time 


Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Face-to-face service at the trade counter
  • Maintain and improve our high standards of Customer Service
  • Liaising with sales channels
  • Providing customers with detailed knowledge of products & support services
  • Manage, motivate, train and develop team as required.
  • Actively promote good team working
  • Processing Sales and Purchase Orders; maintaining Branch records
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in all aspects of Branch operation
  • Maintain complete familiarity with the company ERP system to ensure accurate and efficient workflow
  • Working closely with the Finance Team, ensure efficient collection of payments, issuing of credits and administration of warranty claims.
  • Stock Management
  • Efficient planning and execution of delivery schedule
  • Ensure complicity with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Supporting customers with any query that might arise.

Requirements

  • Experience in running a busy branch, preferably within associated trades
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Great communicator, both verbal & written

  • Management: 5 years

Licence:

  • Forklift Counterbalance Licence
  • Driving License

Language:

  • English

Internal Sales Co-Ordinator

 

We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of our expanding team as an Internal Sales Co-Ordinator.

Job type: full time


Daily duties & responsibilities

  • Taking orders via phone, email or counter from customers and external sales rep's
  • Raising quotes and liaising with customers
  • Supporting customers with any query that might arise.
  • Organising delivery's to sites and keeping to the customers required schedule
  • liaising with suppliers to be able to meet customers requirements in a timely and cost effective manor.
  • Able to work in the warehouse, preparing orders for collection & despatch
  • Dedication to the role, task completion in a timely fashion.
  • General administration roles
  • Serve on trade counter
  • 6 monthly stock take to be carried out
  • Check in stock delivered by suppliers and that they match our purchase order

Requirements

  • Proven office and computer experience
  • Valid professional driver’s license
  • Ability to operate forklifts is desirable but not essential

Internal Technical Sales Advisor

We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of our expanding team as an Internal Technical Sales Advisor

Daily duties & responsibilities

  • To apply our product range to HVAC design criteria to deliver sound and reliable solutions and accurate quotations
  • Provide technical assistance to the Product Sales Team and its employees.
  • Assist customers in all technical advice and support as required.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues by accepting telephone orders and enquiries.
  • Maintain familiarity with all supplied air conditioning and refrigeration products.
  • Increase quality and effectiveness of design team, regularly monitoring service levels.
  • To manage the project database, maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations.
  • Liaise with Regional Technical Manager and National Technical Manager on new products and design changes.
  • Train and educate in Mitsubishi products all Kooltech staff.
  • Attend site when required to resolve warranty disputes.
  • Responsible for providing Power Point training presentations.

Develop and maintain effective inter-personal relationships with Senior Project Managers and Branch staff ensuring a high standard of teamwork

Skills

  • Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar discipline preferred.
  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word & Excel).
  • User experience of K8 or other ERP system advantageous but not essential.

  • A/C System design: 1 year

Driver/Storeperson

We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of our expanding team as a Driver/Storeperson

Daily duties & responsibilities

  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect & undertake the delivery & collection service for the Branch
  • Organising delivery's to sites and keeping to the customers required schedule
  • Accurately check receipts against Purchase orders
  • Pick goods from Warehouse for orders processed by the Sales Team for delivery or collection by customers.
  • Preparation of orders for despatch on couriers
  • Complete logs and reports where required
  • Cyclical stocktakes to be carried out
  • Liaising with suppliers to be able to meet customers requirements in a timely and cost effective manor.
  • Dedication to the role, task completion in a timely fashion.

  • Rotation of stock & cyclical stock takes to be carried out

Project Sales Administrator

We are looking for an Individual who wants to be part of our expanding team as an Project Sales Administrator

Daily duties & responsibilities

  • Liaising with sales channels to co-ordinate successful delivery of customer orders, undertaking follow-up action for order confirmation.
  • Maintain regular customer contact and a speedy response to each and every customer
  • Providing customers with detailed knowledge of our products & services
  • Have an understanding of the delivery environment to ensure appropriate delivery.
  • Keeping up to date with new products and design changes.
  • Manage the project database, maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations.
  • Own customers Project orders ,including acknowledgement, order entry & proactively agree delivery schedule with the customer
  • Weekly or as directed provide a project forecast detailing invoicing schedules.
  • Complete monthly sales performance and annual Gross Margin figures as directed.
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral.
  • Processing Sales and Purchase Orders; maintaining Branch records
  • Through a “hands-on” approach, maintain complete familiarity with the company ERP system to ensure accurate and efficient workflow
  • Identify any potential credit issues which would prevent or delay shipments
  • Provide administrative support for the team with presentations and events.
  • Proactively plan the delivery’s to site and provide advanced notice to ensure stock availability.
  • Produce a weekly project forecast sheet highlighting the project shipments and invoicing.
  • Efficient planning and execution of delivery schedule, minimising transport and carriage costs whilst maintaining high levels of Customer Service.
