2 x Internal Sales Co-Ordinator

Location: Newcastle/Birmingham

Reporting to: Branch Supervisor

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time.

Purpose of role: Assisting with the sales of the product portfolio incoming through the branch and over the trade counter. 

Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are currently seeking two Internal Sales Co-coordinators to join our successful team. Reporting to the Branch Supervisor you will be assisting with the sales of the product portfolio incoming through the branch and over the trade counter.

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Processing and handling of incoming orders both over the phone and the trade counter, and undertaking follow-up action for order confirmation.
  •  Providing an excellent customer service ensuring a speedy response to each and every customer enquiry.
  •  Acquire a detailed product knowledge to effectively support customer enquiries and promote the Kooltech portfolio to customers visiting the trade counter.
  •  Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in all aspects of the branch operation including pricing and data management.
  • Assist the Branch Supervisor in collection of payments, issuing of credits and administration of warranty claims.
  • Supporting the Stock Controller to ensure that stock levels remain with-in pre-defined levels.

Skills, qualifications and experience:

  • You will have a customer focused attitude – Identifying, understanding and giving priority to meeting the needs of our existing and potential customers. A hard working team player who has the skill to develop and maintain excellent inter-personal relationships effectively both internally and with customers.
  • Ability to identify problems and opportunities and respond to them with insight and creativity.
  • Have a positive attitude and a passion to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Well organised when working under pressure and be highly competent with CRM systems and use of MS Office.

2 X Area Project Sales Manager's - North Region

Location: External throughout M62 Corridor,

Reporting to: Senior Project Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time. Specification led via Consultants/Mechanical and Contractors

Purpose of role: Sales and Influence of the Mitsubishi Air Conditioning and K-CON Product Range

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Job Description:

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Promote sales and influence the range of Mitsubishi Electric and K-CON products to main contractors, sub-  contractors, end users and consultancy organisations by planned targeting of existing and potential customers/clients in respective industries.
  • Achieve sales turnover budgets/targets agreed for the area (exceeding these levels wherever possible!) with optimum gross margins adhering to company policies on discount procedures.
  • Achieve quote targets set and quote conversion rates as agreed with the Senior Project Manager.
  • Actively track all projects, and share project information with the product sales team.
  • Track projects, communicate with the Application team at all times.
  • In ALL instances where special pricing needs to be quoted to meet competitive or customer pressures, prior approval must be sought from the Senior Project Manager.
  • Provide a constantly improved quality of Customer Service by maintaining regular contact with personal visits and/or telephone and/or written communications.
  • Acquire detailed product knowledge of products and market trends to effectively support customer queries and/or requirements for any back-up services.
  • Maintain regular market intelligence on competitive pricing policies, products range and/or special promotions for regular weekly or monthly reporting to the Senior Project Manager (as directed) with any appropriate recommendations for Kooltech Environmental Solutions action.
  • Be responsible for day-to-day management of customer accounts, as directed by the Senior Project Manager.
  • Provide entertainment/hospitality to develop and maintain good customer relationships, recognizing that some events will occur out off normal working hours.
  • Ensure speedy response to each and every customer enquiry - in consultation with the Senior Project Manager whenever required to do so.
  • Support the role of Application team upon direction from the Senior Project Manager whenever required to do so.
  • Maintain complete familiarity with the computer link to head-office and the operating system with a “hands-on” approach to        ensure continuing use of modern technology in use and generation of performance data.
  • Assist Senior Project Manager, as and when necessary, in

       (a) Administration of Warranty Claims
       (b) Timely payments by debtors (in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions applicable to specific customer accounts)
  • Maintain excellent inter-personal relationships with all personnel at Kooltech Environmental Solutions and those at other Kooltech divisions/head office/subsidiary companies within the Kooltech group.
  • To work with and up hold the company’s core values.
  • Actively participate in regular Kooltech Environmental Solutions staff meetings.

    (a) Communicating any notable sales achievements and/or problems in the market.
    (b) Discussing more profitable sources for procurement for possible communication to the Senior Project Manager

The Person

  • Building Services qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Air Conditioning/heating and ventilation principles/applications.
