Project Sales Managers

Locations: Glasgow, Birmingham & London

Reporting to: Divisional Business Executives

Purpose of role: To promote sales and influence the range of both Mitsubishi Electric air conditioning systems and Kooltech bespoke K-con solutions to; M&E consultants, air conditioning contractors and end users.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time.

Salary: Dependent on experience

We are looking for individuals who wants to be part of our expanding team as a Project Sales Manager based in our Glasgow, Birmingham & London branches.

Job type: full time

 Daily duties & responsibilities:

  • Promote sales and influence the range of Mitsubishi products to main contractors, sub-contractors, end users and consultancy organisations by planned targeting of existing and potential customers/clients in respective industries.

  • Achieve sales turnover budgets/targets agreed for the branch (exceeding these levels wherever possible!) with optimum gross margins adhering to company policies on discount procedures.

  • Achieve quote targets set and quote conversion rates as agreed with the Regional Project Manager.

  • Actively track all projects and share project information with the product sales team.

  • In ALL instances where special pricing needs to be quoted to meet competitive or customer pressures, prior approval must be sought from the Regional Project Manager.

  • Provide a constantly improved quality of Customer Service by maintaining regular contact with personal visits and/or telephone and/or written communications.

  • Acquire detailed product knowledge of products and market trends to effectively support customer queries and/or requirements for any back-up services.

  • Maintain regular market intelligence on competitive pricing policies, products range and/or special promotions for regular weekly or monthly reporting to the Regional Project Manager (as directed) with any appropriate recommendations for Kooltech action.

  • Be responsible for day-to-day management of customer accounts, as directed by the Regional Project Manager.

  • Provide entertainment/hospitality to develop and maintain good customer relationships, recognising that some events will occur out of normal working hours.

  • Ensure a speedy response to each and every customer enquiry - in consultation with the Regional Project Manager whenever required to do so.
  • Support the role of Salesperson (Internal) and/or the Storeperson upon direction from the Regional Project Manager whenever required to do so.

  • Maintain complete familiarity with the computer link to head-office and the operating system with a “hands-on” approach to ensure continuing use of modern technology in use and generation of performance data

Applications Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Reporting to: Regional Technical Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Purpose of the role: To apply the Kooltech and K-con product range to HVAC design criteria, and to give reliable pre and post sales technical advice and accurate quotations.

Salary: Dependent on experience 

 


We a recruiting for an Applications Engineer to join the growing Midlands team. This person will provide value added solutions applying Mitsubishi Electric and K-con bespoke solutions to HVAC projects and technical advice to customers and colleagues on our range of air conditioning and refrigeration products.

 

Job type: full time 

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • To apply our product range to HVAC design criteria to deliver sound and reliable solutions and accurate quotations.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Product Sales Team and its employees.
  • Assist customers in all technical advice and support as required.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues by accepting telephone orders and enquiries.
  • Maintain familiarity with all supplied air conditioning and refrigeration products.
  • Increase quality and effectiveness of design team, regularly monitoring service levels.
  • To manage the project database, maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations.
  • Liaise with Regional Technical Manager and National Technical Manager on new products and design changes.
  • Train and educate in Mitsubishi products all Kooltech staff.
  • Attend site when required to resolve warranty disputes.
  • Responsible for providing Power Point training presentation.
  • Develop and maintain effective inter-personal relationships with Senior Project Managers and Branch staff ensuring a high standard of teamwork.

Skills:

  • Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar discipline preferred.
  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word & Excel).
  • User experience of K8 or other ERP system advantageous but not essential.

Internal Sales Coordinator

Location: Manchester 

Reporting to: Branch Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Purpose of the role: Effectively handle a range of general customer enquiries both face to face and over the phone within our busy branch and trade counter. 

Salary: Dependent on experience 

 

We are looking for an individual to join our successful Manchester team to promote the sales of the Kooltech product portfolio. The role involves handling a range of customers requests over the telephone, email and face to face at the trade counter. This position needs a person with a can-do attitude who will provide high levels of service to customers and internal team members.

 

Job type: full time

 

Daily duties & responsibilities:

 

  • Taking orders via phone, email or counter from customers and external sales rep's.
  • Raising quotes and liaising with customers.
  • Supporting customers with any query that might arise.
  • Organising delivery's to sites and keeping to the customers required schedule.
  • Liaising with suppliers to be able to meet customers requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Able to work in the warehouse, preparing orders for collection & dispatch.
  • Dedication to the role, task completion in a timely fashion.
  • General administration roles.
  • Serve on trade counter.
  • 6 monthly stock take to be carried out.
  • Check in stock delivered by suppliers and that they match our purchase order.

Branch Manager

Location: Fareham 

Reporting to: National Operations Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Purpose of the role: To manage and motivate the branch team to deliver operational excellence, outstanding service and sustainable profitable sales.

 

Salary: Dependent on experience 

We need an experienced leader to inspire and manage the operational and internal sales function of our successful Fareham branch. Our operation needs someone whom can implement our company processes, motivate team members to deliver market leading service and develop sustainable profitable sales.

Job type: full time

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Face-to-face service at the trade counter.
  • Maintain and improve our high standards of Customer Service.
  • Liaising with sales channels.
  • Providing customers with detailed knowledge of products & support services.
  • Manage, motivate, train and develop team as required.
  • Actively promote good team working.
  • Processing Sales and Purchase Orders; maintaining Branch records.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in all aspects of Branch operation.
  • Maintain complete familiarity with the company ERP system to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.
  • Working closely with the Finance Team, ensure efficient collection of payments, issuing of credits and administration of warranty claims.
